What are Drag boards?

Boards, columns and cards: The building blocks of your workflows

Drag boards are where emails and tasks get organized, information is shared and great work happens.

Made up of columns and cards, they give everyone a shared perspective on the work getting done and what still needs to get done, when, how and by whom.

You and your team can create and use Drag boards to manage customers, projects, leads or anything else.

Kanban vs list vs preview views

Adding Incoming Emails to Drag Boards

You can add incoming emails from a Shared Inbox or a Google Group to a Drag board, so that new emails load in real time into your boards. Otherwise, you can choose to go for an empty board, that is not attached to any inbox or Google Group, and customize it according to your needs.

Empty boards (no incoming emails) start empty, like a blank canvas. You can then populate them the way you want: create new cards, Drag existing cards into it, create automations to move emails into it automatically, etc. Drag boards were designed to be flexible for both individuals or teams.

Shared Inboxes are for teams that use company emails such as sales@ or support@ (with login and password) and want to manage them collaboratively. They were built so that various team members can access and manage incoming emails from the same inbox, without needing to share a Gmail account or password.

Google Groups boards are for teams that use Google Groups as an alternative to collaborate on emails. These Groups do not have a password associated to them, and instead are set up as distribution lists where multiple team members receive the same emails. Drag Google Groups boards avoid the problems associated with Google Groups such as email duplications and lack of accountability, by centralizing all emails into one single shared board.

Any board can be shared or used individually

Regardless of whether your boards are empty or receive incoming emails, they can be either shared with your team or private just for you.

Avoid losing communication with all back and forth emails. Share Drag boards with your team and have them collaborating on the same view. Here's how you can share Drag boards with your team.
