How to use business hours
Setting Business Hours for your shared boards lets you define the operating hours for each board, ie. when your team is actively working on them.
Business hours allow you to accurately track response times and other metrics only during those hours.
Business hours are included in the Pro plan.
To define business hours for your boards:
Click on the Drag icon on the top right to open your dashboard.
Go to Boards > Board settings.
Under Board settings, click on the dropdown menu and select the board for which you want to set up business hours.
Scroll down to Business hours.
Select the days of the week of the business hours for that board.
Select the timezone of the business hours for that board.
Define opening and closing times for each day of the week for that board.
Click on save.
Repeat for each board you would like to set up business hour for.
Clicking on the 'clear' button will reset business hours to all days of the week, 24 hours per day.
To take into account business hours in your reports calculations:
Click on the Drag icon on the top right to open your dashboard.
Go to Reports.
Click on the date selection dropdown.
Check the checkbox next to Business hours only.
Click on Apply.
Selecting the "business hours only" checkbox will automatically consider business hours in calculations across all reports.
You can create automation rules in Drag based on a certain trigger happening within or outside business hours. This option is available in the trigger section of automations, next to "Email time" as shown in the image below. Click here to learn more about automation rules.
Note the Email Time option is only available for the following automation triggers: New conversation (inbound) is created and Inbound reply is received.
You can also select whether automation timers should run only during business hours. To do so, check or uncheck the "within business hours" checkbox.
