It's very easy to create a new Drag board.
On you Gmail sidebar menu, find "Drag Boards" and click on the '+' icon next to it
Choose the type of board you want to create. If selecting Shared Inbox or Google Groups board, type the email address associated with the Shared Inbox or Google Group.
Invite team members that you want to share this board with. If you don't want to share the board with anyone else, just click on Next. You will be able to share the board with other team members at any time later.
Type a name for your new board and click on Next.
In this case, you will be redirected to the new board. This board will start empty. You will then be ready to share it with your team, customize your columns, drag cards into it, create new cards or automations.
If you chose to add a Shared Inbox, you will be redirected to the following steps:
Authenticate the email account associated with the Shared Inbox. This is to prove that you have the credentials to access that account.
Accept Drag's permissions to connect to this account. Here's why we need them.
The historical emails from that Shared Inbox will load into the first column of your board. All new emails will also load on the first column.
You will then be ready to share this Shared Inbox with your team, customize your columns, drag emails into it or add new tasks.
In this case, you will be redirected to the new Google Groups board and will be ready to go! Every email sent to a Google Group will land on this board, and your team will be able to collaborate.
Note historical emails from the Google Group won't load on the board. Just emails received after the creation of the board will land on the board.
