How to add payment method on WhatsApp Business API

You must have a valid payment method in your WhatsApp Business account to be able to send messages using the WhatsApp Business API, even if you do not exceed the number of free conversations available. Read this article to learn more about the WhatsApp Business API pricing.

If you are trying to send WhatsApp messages from Drag but are getting the error below, check if you have a valid payment method registered in your WhatsApp Business account. This article explains how to do it.



Go to your Facebook Business account and Select Settings > WhatsApp accounts.



Select the WhatsApp account you want to update the payment method for and select Payment Settings on the bottom of the page.



A new tab will load. Check if there are any errors with the current payment methods. To add a new one, select Add payment method.



Follow the prompts, verify the card and add your business information to register the new payment method.

Once the new payment method has been added, go back to Drag and try re-sending messages.
